The SpiroPure SP-S1-20 non-woven pleated polyester water filter cartridge reduces sediment for a wide range of filtration uses, including a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial applications. SP-S1-20 is a high quality replacement sediment filter that fits any standard filter housings that use 20" x 2.5" filter cartridges. Polyester filter media is 100% synthetic and cellulose-free, giving it a higher wet-strength, chemical resistance, and longer cartridge life compared to traditional cellulose filters. The non-woven media allows for a higher flow-rate, while the pleated design creates a much greater surface area for an enhanced dirt holding capacity while still maintaining a lower pressure drop. S1 series filters are particularly suited to filtering sediment from chlorinated water supplies.
