How to Replace the Whirlpool 4396701 Filter (see the video)
- Twist the used filter counterclockwise 1/4 turn and pull the filter straight out (The water shuts off automatically so you don’t have to worry about flooding your refrigerator)
- Remove the reusable color-keyed knob from the end and discard the used filter
- Slide the knob onto the end of the new filter
- Push the filter straight into the fridge and twist it clockwise 1/4 turn
- If your refrigerator has a “Change Filter“ light, reset it
How to Reset the "Change Filter" Light
- Press the light switch (the one that the refrigerator door presses every time you close the door) 5 times within 10 seconds

- If the refrigerator has a filter button, press and hold it for 5-10 seconds
