Intex-compatible filter cartridges use pleated polyester media to capture particles and debris effectively. The cartridge design maximizes surface area within a compact form. These filters handle high-flow mechanical filtration and proper filtration reduces chemical demand by keeping water cleaner. SpiroPure Intex-compatible cartridges offer the same filtration performance as OEM products and they're manufactured to match Intex dimensions. Replace cartridges every 12–18 months for optimal performance. Gently rinse them as needed during active use. Affordable replacement costs make maintaining clean water easy.

Maintaining your Intex filter is straightforward and quick. Turn off the pump before removing the cartridge. Rinse the filter thoroughly with a garden hose every couple of weeks or so, as needed. Spray gently between pleats to flush out trapped debris. For deep cleaning, soak the cartridge in a filter cleaning solution from a pool supply store to remove some oils and organic buildup, but remember cartridge-style filters will wear down over time and with heavy use. Always let the filter dry completely before reinstalling. When replacing your Intex filter with a compatible SpiroPure model, turn off the pump to release pressure, remove the old cartridge and insert the new one.
