Operation

The “Longer life” mode is used with cloudy water. The water is pre-filtered through the ceramic disk, which captures majority of the contaminants before they can reach the glass-fiber membrane and cause it to become clogged.
The “Faster flow” mode directs the water straight to the 0.3 micron glass-fiber membrane, which increases the flow from 1 quart to ½ gallon per minute.
Both modes pass the water through the activated carbon filter.
